Polyurethane Primer Set
It is used as Primer on industrial surfaces, metal surfaces and all surfaces where polyurethane finish is to be applied.
PROPERTIES
It is a polyurethane alkyd resin and isocyanate based Primer with two components, and high mechanical and chemical resistance. It is an anticorrosive Primer with high opacity, resistant to mechanical and chemical effects.
Appearance: Flat Primer
Chemical Structure: polyurethane alkyd resin, polyisocyanate combination
Viscosity: 85KU -90 KU at 25°C
Thinner: Kardelen Polyurethane Thinner
Thickness: 5 micron
Solid matter quantity: 55% – 60%
Drying period: 8 hours at 20°C / 30 minutes at 60°C.
Surfaces to be applied should be free from all kinds of mechanical and chemical contamination. Top table gun: HVLP 1,3 mm/ conventional gun: 1,3 mm-1,4 mm./ bottom table conventional gun: 1,6 mm-1,8 mm. Air Pressure: HVLP 2,5-3,5 BAR/ conventional gun 4 bar. Preparing the Mixture: 1 kg polyurethane hardener is added to 16 kg polyurethane finish. Usage Life of Mixture: at 20°C 1,5 -2 hours.
Prepared for use by thinning with Kardelen Polyurethane Thinner depending on the application.
Depends on surface conditions and application method.
Storable for 2 years in cool and dry places away from direct sunlight between -5 and +30 °C with the lid tightly closed. Avoid freezing.
