Polyurethane Finishing Set
It is used in industrial facilities, on all steel construction surfaces, in refineries, petrochemical plants, steel houses, and plants with chemical processes like sugar-fertilizer and cement factories.
PROPERTIES
It is an elastic paint with two components being polyurethane alkyd and isocyanate combination having permanent glossiness, high mechanical and chemical resistance. It is a finish with high physical and chemical properties. Resistance to UV rays is quite high. It provides excellent adhesion. It dries quickly.
Appearance: gloss finish.
Chemical Structure: polyurethane alkyd resin, polyisocyanate combination.
Viscosity: 85KU -90 KU at 25°C
Thinner: Kardelen Polyurethane Thinner.
Solid matter quantity: %40- %50 depends on color.
Thickness: 5 microns.
Drying period: 8 hours at 20°C, and 30 minutes at 60°C.
Surfaces to be applied should be free from all kinds of mechanical and chemical contamination. For higher yield, it is recommended to apply polyurethane Primer to the surface before applying finish. Top table gun: HVLP 1,3 mm/ conventional gun: 1,3 mm-1,4 mm/ bottom table conventional gun: 1,6 mm – 1,8 mm. Air Pressure: HVLP 2,5 – 3,5 BAR/ conventional gun 4 bar. Preparing the Mixture: 3 kg polyurethane hardener is added to16 kg polyurethane finish. Usage Life of Mixture: at 20 °C 1,5-2 hours.
Prepared for use by thinning with Kardelen polyurethane thinner depending on the application
Storable for 2 years in cool and dry places away from direct sunlight between -5 and +30 °C with the lid tightly closed. Avoid freezing.
