FIELDS OF USE
Road Marking Paint
It is used on road markings, asphalt surfaces, paving stones and in parking lot markings.
PROPERTIES
It is a chlorinated rubber based, solvent-resistant paint with high abrasion resistance, used for road and pavement markings. It ensures excellent adhesion, dries quickly, and is resistant against rubbing.
Before applying the Road Marking Paint, surfaces should be cleaned from foreign material such as dust, dirt, gravel. The surface should be completely dry. Road markings should not be applied on loose grounds, or worn aggregated surfaces. Application should be made in a non-windy, non-rainy environment and at a temperature of min. 15°C on a clean and dry asphalt surface. If glass beads are to be applied to ensure road safety especially at night, the glass beads should be added immediately after the application of the paint, in a way to reflect the light from any source in the correct angle. When the material is first applied on the road, the glass beads are invisible; however, they appear after a while with erosion caused by traffic. In time, reflectivity continues and the road marking get a glossy appearance.
It can be used by thinning with Kardelen Cellulosic Thinner at a ratio of 5-10 %.
Depending on absorption properties of the surface, with 1 kg Road Line Paint, 2-3 m2 area can be painted in a single coat.
