Solvent Based Epoxy Primer Set
It was formulated for use in all areas where Kardelen Epoxy Finish is to be applied, in precast in precast sector, industrial premises, metal constructions, and any area where moisture and corrosion resistance is required.
PROPERTIES
It is a epoxy resin based anti-corrosive Primer with two components. It adheres well to surfaces, resistant against moisture and corrosion. Forms a solid and smooth film, and a perfect surface for finishes to be applied on.
Appearance: Flat Primer
Chemical Structure: Two component, epoxy resin and solvent combination
Viscosity: 85KU – 90 KU at 25°C
Thinner: Kardelen Epoxy Thinner
Solid matter quantity: %55- %60
Thickness: 5 microns
Drying period: at 20°C, keeping the dust away in 1-2 hours, drying period to touch 6-8 hours, full drying: 7 days.
Application surfaces should be cleared from any kind of mechanical and chemical contamination. It can be applied by spraying, with roll, or brush. Air Pressure: HVLP 2,5-3,5 BAR/ conventional gun 4 bar. Preparing the Mixture: 3 kg epoxy hardener is added to 18 Kg epoxy finish. Usage Life of Mixture: at 20°C, 1,5-2 hours.
Should be thinned with Kardelen cellulosic thinner 20% for spraying, 15% for roll application, 10% for brush application.
Varies depending on surface conditions and application type.
Storable for 2 years in cool and dry places away from direct sunlight between -5 and +30 °C with the lid tightly closed. Avoid freezing.
