Specifications
Promax Special Floor Paint is a special formulation based on 1K acrylic resin. It provides ease of application with its single-component structure and fast drying. Thanks to its high adhesion strength and shock absorption feature, it offers superior resistance against impacts, heavy loads, and other physical effects. Suitable for outdoor use, this product stands out with its high UV resistance. It facilitates cleaning and delays contamination with its dirt-repellent property.
Appearance: flat, semi-matt
Chemical structure: acrylic resin, solvent-based
Thinner: Kardelen cellulosic thinner
Viscosity: 130-140 KU
Drying time: Touch dry: 10-15 min. Dust-free dry: 20-30 min., Waiting time between coats: 4-6 hours, full dry: 24 hours.
Recommended application: 2 coats
The application surface must be sound, clean, dry, oil-free, smooth, set, dust-free, and in a condition to support the paint. There should be no chemical layer on the surface (e.g., surface hardener for concrete). Cracks, pits, and defects should be repaired with Promax Floor Repair Putty. After the repair putty application, wait for 1 hour. The floor should be cleaned by sweeping, with air, and with cellulosic thinner. Moisture measurement should be carried out on the floor before application, and it must be ensured that the floor has released its moisture. After cleaning the floor, surface absorbency can optionally be regulated with Promax Floor Primer. 4-6 hours should be allowed for the primer to dry. After the primer application, Promax Floor Paint should be thinned and mixed thoroughly. Application can be done by roller, brush, or spray method at an ambient temperature between +5°C and +30°C. For the best result, 2 coats of application and a 4-6 hour waiting period between coats are recommended. Finally, Promax 2k Armor Varnish can be applied to increase gloss and stain resistance.
It can be thinned with Kardelen Cellulosic Thinner at a rate of 10-15% for roller application and 15-20% for spraying.
Depending on the application method, surface characteristics, and film thickness, consumption in a single coat is 5-6 m²/kg and 8-10 m²/L. A controlled sample study should be conducted for exact consumption.
It can be stored for up to 2 years in its unopened packaging in a cool, dry, and ventilated place at temperatures between 5-30°C, away from direct sunlight.
