Exposed Concrete Primer

FIELDS OF USE

It is used as an Primer before application of gypsum and cement plaster on tunnel formwork, concrete and reinforced concrete surfaces.

PROPERTIES

The product is water-based and it provides adhesion of cement and especially gypsum based plaster mortars to exposed concrete surfaces. It prevents rapid water loss of cement and plaster. It can be produced in red and green colors.

Drying period: Full drying period is max. 24 hours, waiting time between the coats is 1-2 hours.

APPLICATION

Any oil, grease and rust remnants weakening the adherence should be cleaned from the surface before application and there should be no loose particles on the surface. It should be thinned and made homogenous by mixing for at least 3-5 minutes. During application, the product should be mixed at regular intervals. Ambient temperature should be between 5°C and 30°C.

THINNING

Depending on surface conditions, it is recommended to thin a 12 kg bucket with 4-6 lt clean water including no other solvent or foreign material; and to apply as a single coat.

CONSUMPTION

Depending on absorption properties of the surface, 150- 200 gr/m2 1 kg Exposed Concrete Primer 4 to 6 m2 surface can be primed with a single layer.

STORAGE

Storable for 1 years in cool and dry places away from direct sunlight between -5 and +30 °C with the lid tightly closed. Avoid freezing.
