Promax 2K Acrylic Armor Varnish
It is used for the protection and aesthetic coating of surfaces such as metals like steel and iron, machinery and equipment, vehicles, wooden surfaces, parquet floors in heavy-use areas, and stones in environments requiring resistance to outdoor conditions and UV resistance.

- Structure: Two-component, transparent varnish cured with acrylic resin and aliphatic isocyanate.
- Physical Resistance: Provides high resistance against impacts, scratches and abrasions with an excellent balance of elasticity and hardness.
- Chemical Resistance: Resistant to chemicals.

- UV Resistance: Has superior UV resistance thanks to its structural components and does not yellow or fade.
- Adhesion and Drying: Features good spreading, high adhesion capability and fast drying properties.

- Pot Life: 4 – 5 hours at 20 °C
- Drying (20°C and 50% relative humidity) Flash off: 5-10 min; Touch dry: 1-2 hours; Full cure: 7 days.
- Surface Preparation: The application surface is cleaned of residues such as dirt, oil, dust and rust that will prevent paint adhesion.
- Product Preparation: A and B components are mixed in the specified ratios (3+1). (Packages are prepared according to the full mixing ratio, material is not increased.) Component A is started to be mixed with a mechanical mixer and component B is added slowly and mixing is continued for 5-10 minutes. The mixture is ready for application, but if necessary, the application viscosity can be adjusted by thinning with at most 10% Acrylic Thinner.
- Application: It can be applied directly on the raw surface or on intermediate/primer/base paints with a roller, brush, conventional suction or gravity-feed air gun (1.4 mm-1.6 mm. Air pressure: HVLP 2.5-3.5 BAR).
It is ready for use. According to the application method, it can be thinned with Acrylic Thinner up to a maximum of 10% if necessary.
8-12 m2/kg at 40 micron film thickness. Consumption varies according to the type of surface, absorbency and application habits. A controlled sample study should be carried out for exact consumption.
It can be stored for 2 years in its unopened packaging in cool, dry environments away from direct sunlight. It should be protected from freezing.
