Soot and Stain Covering Primer
It is used to cover stains such as cigarette smoke, heater soot, water traces, and for lining highly dirty surfaces not being able to be covered by paint applications such as chimney flows, soot, fly ash on interior and exterior surfaces.
PROPERTIES
It provides high level opacity with its formula consisting of a combination of special alkyd resin and solvent. It also provides a perfect coating between the surface and any paint to be applied on. It dries quickly and prevents bleeding.

Drying period: Period to touch: 5-10 dk., period for keeping the dust away: 20-25 hours, solid drying period: 4 hours.
Application surfaces should be cleaned from dust after fixing defects of the surface. It is applied in 2 or 3 coats depending on surface conditions with 1 hour’s interval. Finish is applied after 4 hours of priming.
It is ready to use, in case of need, it can be thinned at a ratio of 5% with Kardelen Cellulosic Thinner.
Depending on absorption properties of the surface, with 1 kg Kardelen Soot and Stain Covering Primer, 5-7 m2 area can be painted.
Storable for 2 years in cool and dry places away from direct sunlight between -5 and +30 °C with the lid tightly closed. Avoid freezing.
