It is a glossy varnish that can be used on indoor furniture as a decorative and protective coating without disturbing the natural appearance of the wood.

Properties

It is a glossy and transparent varnish based on urethane alkyd resin. It is resistant to abrasive substances such as detergents, alcohol, and oil. It is resistant to yellowing. It forms a hard film layer. It provides savings in labor and time due to its good spreading properties.

APPLICATION

Surfaces should be cleared of all kinds of impurities such as dust, dirt, oil and blistered residues. For ground preparation, surfaces should be primed with cellulosic filler varnish and cleared of dust after sanding. Furniture Varnish can be applied by brush, roller and spray. Application should be done in 2 coats and at least 12 hours should be waited between coats. Applications should be made above +5°C.

THINNING

It is ready for application by brush. For applications with a spray gun, it can be used by thinning with 15% Kardelen Synthetic Thinner.

CONSUMPTION

With 1 lt of Kardelen Furniture Varnish, an area of 12-15 m² can be painted in a single coat depending on the condition of the surface.

STORAGE

It can be stored for 2 years in cool, dry and sun-free places between -5 and +30 °C with the lid tightly closed. It should be protected from freezing.
