Kardelen Sandable Putty
It is a surface smoothing filler used in the final stage of construction or in the renovation of existing structures for sub-surface preparation. It can be applied to non-flexible building elements such as gypsum board, exposed concrete, brick, briquette, aerated concrete and plastered surfaces.

It is an acrylic-based, water-based putty. It can be easily sanded. It is applied as a final process just before paint application. It ensures a more aesthetic and smooth appearance of the paint by creating a thin and smooth surface. Thanks to its low absorbency, paint consumption is reduced. It is more durable than gypsum and more resistant to water and moisture. It is breathable. It is odorless and has low VOC (volatile organic compounds) emissions.

Recommended application: Single coat application is recommended.
Drying time: Full drying time is 24 hours.
Recommended application thickness: Maximum 2 mm
Surfaces must be sound, dry, clean and in a condition to carry the putty. It is applied with a steel trowel or spatula in thin and one-way layers. The first coat dries within 24 hours; a second coat can be applied if necessary. Total application thickness should not exceed 1-2 mm. After full drying, a smooth surface is obtained with 150–200 grit sandpaper. After the dust is cleaned, the surface becomes ready for primer and paint application. During application, the ambient temperature should be between +5°C and +30°C. Application in direct sun and windy environments should be avoided. It should not be applied to damp or wet surfaces.
It is applied directly without thinning.
Depending on the absorbency of the surface, an average area of 1-2.5 m2/kg can be puttied in a single coat.
It can be stored for 1 year in a cool place, protected from frost and direct sunlight, with the container tightly closed.
